In my opinion i dont think Edward Snowden is a traitor because he took stand for the right thing which was people having privacy over their divices. I think he did the right thing by telling and showing the puplic what the CIA was doing, because people had a right to know that they didnt have privacy over their divices. I think Edward shouldnt be called a traitor and it wouldnt be fair to him because for the public that was told they were being "spied" on it told them something important and i dont think Edward should be hated for telling the public about how much privacy the gervenment is giving them. Another thing is that no one is going to take a stand to bring all the "spying" down because the next terrirst attack would make it look like it was their fault. After finding an article written by Zachary Keck It had said that Edward Snowden was a traitor but in this persons opinion because the NSA goes this far to prevent these attacks. In this article Edward Snowden was known as a "whistleblower". The second article I read was saying that Edward Snowden was not a traitor. It had said "He stood up for our rights, prompting a global debate on mass surveillance that changed the world – yet he faces decades in prison for it." After reading both articles in best point of view I think Edward Snowden is not a traitor.

12/14/2016 0 Comments Fentanyl Crisis...Response Dec 14Safe injection sites would be supervised by people who could help with drug treatment, because then they'll know who might inject themselves. I think they would help in the lower mailand because, then people who could help and are watching over a site would be able to help aid people taking the injection. Something there could be to aid the crisis is drug therapy. There could be certain medications to treat this crisis. Medications would be given by a therapest or doctor helping out. Other things that could help is having a group of people and talking out other solutions. I think people may understand that taking risks with Fentanyl injections is a really bad choice after listening to other solutions to personal problems.
12/7/2016 0 Comments Trump and Trade...Response Dec 7According to Trump America is losing countries for trading with because "unfair" trades were taken. Trump believes in wining or losing, but doesnt realize that he's trading with have a better economy, they would have more money to buy things from the US. In cases like this Donald Trump claims NAFTA is a bad agreement and America should withdraw. This would all cause other companies from not trading because it would also cause a loss.
11/30/2016 0 Comments Fidel Castro...Response Nov 29Fidel Castro was a cuban leader who had ruled for years. Fidel Castro death has been huge because of some terrible things he had done and some of the good things he had done that made a differnece. Some good things were he gave free education and healthcare. But one terrible thing was he had complete power over everyone. If people had complained about the government or who spoke against the Goverment would be sent to jail. He also threatend people to giving banishment or shuting them down. People would be abused and threatened to be killed sometimes, and under fear no one would say anything against the goverment.
11/29/2016 0 Comments Agribusiness...Response Nov 29Maple Leaf Foods![]() There are many versions of Monsanto in Canada. I found one which is the Maple Leaf Foods. Maple Leaf Foods is an company that gives Canadian stores fresh meat. The dangers of this company is that they haven't proven if their meat is clean. Animals could have steroids, and nothing has been proven that the meat could be safe. This company has had 57 cases and has had 22 people killed. In 2008 there was a recall notice placed in the deli section of Sobey's grocery store. 11/23/2016 0 Comments What is Art...Response Nov 23I think this is an example of art. I think its an example of art because this artist is reciting a poem, and in my opinion a poem is art. This artist used science in his poem. For example the first poem he did on numbers. My definition of art is, something that someone creates or draws or paints or writes or anything like that with lots of passion and creativity is art. Art in my definition could be a poem, a story, a painting, a sculpture, or anything created with passion and creativity. Art could be inspired by science too. Like for example we watched a video of Harry Baker reciting slam poetry, and he had it based on science. The first poem was on numbers and numbers would be math which we could call science. People could label art with beliefs because you would create something you believe and they would label science, facts because everything would be a fact. In my opinion I think you shouldn't label it that because science has lots of beliefs too and creativity and art could be inspired by science.
The first fake claim was "Hillary Clinton successfully defended an accused child rapist and later laughed about the case". Half of this "statement" was fake. What's true was that in 1975, a young lawyer Hillary Rodham defended a charge with raping a 12-year-old girl. Clinton Reluctantly took on the case. The second Fake claim was "Hillary Clinton said in a speech that Christians in America must deny their faith in Christianity" This was a speech on improving the plight of women and girls world wide but it has been cited that she wants Christians to deny their faith in Christianity. The third Fake claim was "Hillary Clinton was disbarred and stripped of her licence to practice law" The legal career of Hillary Clinton has been under examination since she became First Lady while her husband was president in 1993, and has continued through her campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008 and again in 2016. For years rumours have incorrectly spread that Hillary Clinton was fired from the Watergate investigation. The fourth Fake claim was "Hillary Clinton staged a photo encounter with a hiker the day after she lost the 2016 elections"
By Avreen, Angie H, Himanshu, Halood and Chirag. Sources: 11/16/2016 0 Comments Modern Day Slavery...Response Nov 16Modern day slavery is something that has been happening for a long time. There are political, economical, and social things that could cause lots of human trafficking. Human trafficking has an economical reason because these businesses are run by wealthy people, and they probably sell these slaves for really high prices. A political thing that allows human trafficking is government. If there is corrupt government, people are able to kidnap people, promise them things in different countries that they don't and aren't getting in the country that they live in from their government. The social reason is how people feel. These people probably feel that they have no reasons to live, so they would go with what they are promised with. I think this happens in Canada alot because all the new people here dont really know what's going around them so they could easily be triggered by such traders.
11/15/2016 0 Comments How much Influence Should Educators Have on Student Career Choices?...Response Nov 15I think teacher have alot of influence on our decisions just like our parents. Teacher are influential on us because most of the thing students believe or decide is after learning, and most of that knowledge come from our teachers. As long as a teacher has a point and reason students mostly believe everything they teach us. Some reasons a student might believe it is because the teacher would have a reason or point that proves the thing they say, and we know that they are more educated then us so that might be a reason why they are influential. Teacher play a big role just as parents do, as long as what a teacher teaches something right and that has a point the student will respect their opinion knowing that they are more educated then us. Knowledge is something students get from parents and teachers so in conclusion I think teachers are very influential on students.
In Yakutsk the average winter temperature is −34 °C this makes Yakutsk the coldest city in its size or greater in the whole world. This city is located in Russia. I think one of the main reasons of why its so cold is because its located 450 kilometres south from the Arctic Circle. Yakutsk latest population is 282,419 which was last from 2012. The coldness may effect their lifestyle, but I think it does effect how many people live there because compared to other cities in Russia Yakutsk has a pretty low population. I didn't find much over how it would effect animals but over my knowledge I think it may have a bit of effect depending on which animals and how long the animals can live due to cold weather. Here are a couple Sources I used:
